Jane has been drawing and creating art works since she was a child. Always having some project on the go, her introduction to quilting in 2002 was by chance as she had time to spare when working part time and waiting for her son to finish school for the day ... quilting was the answer. In 2002 she made her very first quilt - a single bed sized Double Irish Chain in 30's style fabrics. This quilt was hand but is very "underquilted". Jane progressed to domestic machine quilting and it was a natural and necessary step to purchase a long arm machine in 2007 which allowed freedom of creativity. She loves to do freemotion quilting without patterns as she is always practising something different on her own quilts.
Jane now works full time in her business Purrfectly Quilted from her home in Grindelwald. She is open by appointment only but is very flexible to suit your time schedule.
Jane has won a number of awards for her quilting...
